URBAN GARDEN CONFLICT

The 12-year dispute over the land known as the South Central Farm ended when the Los Angeles Police Dept. enforced an eviction notice on farmers who occupied 14-acres of land. Supporters of the 350 evicted farmers said it was the largest urban garden in the United States.
